Deciding to settle down on 80 acres in the heart of Southern Louisiana, we decided to share our journey with you as we build a life that will be debt free and self-sustaining. Although we don’t have all the answers, we will rely on determination, research, and good common sense to guide us as we create our home and infrastructure. Lydia is from Illinois and Jim is a life-long resident of Louisiana.
