Sketching from life is brilliant, but I hope this is the next best thing! Every month I share an inspiring scene or subject and invite your to draw or paint it in your own style. I will share a video full of tips and ideas and if you share it online I suggest using the hashtag #Isketchwithliz so we can all find each other's work. This way, we can learn from each other and become a global, virtual, sketch club. Usually I try to sketch on location, so you get all the interruptions and mistakes, but at this time of year it is simply too cold. So I am in my studio, sketching my brother in law's car instead. I am sharing ideas about weird angles and how to measure proportions, as well as how to inject some fun into the colour of a white car.
