It’s time for me to present the newest addition to my Audi collection. Here is the 1st generation Audi TT Roadster 225 quattro, in the unique Baseball glove edition. I’ll try to shorten the story down here in the description. This car was never on my radar of something that I really wanted. That changed a few months ago when I drove another TT from that generation and I was just impressed by the overall feel of it. I guess it has a lot to do with how emotionless the cars of today are. As I say in the reveal film, this car was never really seen as s true sports car. People said it’s the hairdressers car, a squashed VW Beetle, or a wannabe Porsche on a Golf platform. But boy oh buy has that changed today. In a world of utterly quality less driving iPads with zero emotion, this car suddenly is one of the most fun cars you can get for the money. And the interior quality especially in this unique Baseball Edition is absolutely remarkable. It reminded me so much of why I have loved Audi for 30 years. And to me, this mk1 TT is one of the most important designs ever in the automotive history. In the few months I’ve now had it, I’ve completely fallen in love with this little fella.
