Video Description

These twisted baguettes came out so crackly and golden I couldn’t stop tapping them — then I tore one open and forgot about everything else. You know that kind of crust you can actually hear? That happens here. This dough is low effort but gives you that deep satisfaction only bread can. No kneading, no stress. Just simple steps and some quiet joy. I’ve made a lot of baguettes, but this version might be my favorite yet. Ingredients: * Water - 1 cup (220 ml) * Fresh yeast - ¾ tsp. (3 g) _or_ dry yeast - ½ tsp. (2 g) * Bread flour - 2 ½ cups (320 g) * Salt - 1 tsp. (6 g) Yes, that's really it. 4 ingredients to make the perfect baguettes at home. *My other awesome channels:* Sweet Bread Recipes 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@sweet-bread-recipes Cookie Corner 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@The-Cookie-Corner Tools I Used: Baking pan I used to bake this bread: https://amzn.to/3OZQQT3 (I used two of them, one turned upside down and used as cover) Alternative pan: * https://amzn.to/49UyaOo - either two of these, one turned upside down and used as a cover, or one, but covered with aluminum foil for the first bake. * https://amzn.to/4gnx6Fb - same as the previous pan. There’s something so satisfying about hearing the crackle of fresh bread as it cools, knowing you made it from scratch. The texture is exactly what a baguette should be - crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. Whether you enjoy it warm with butter, alongside a meal, or just on its own, this recipe is one you’ll want to make again and again.
