Proper mechanical prep is everything. It is what allows a coating system to bond correctly and last for years. The system was built in proper layers. A 93 percent solids epoxy primer was installed first, followed by a 100 percent solids epoxy intermediate coat. The Domino flake blend was then broadcast to full rejection across the entire floor and walls. The system was finished with a clear polyaspartic topcoat for durability and chemical resistance. After the flake was broadcast, it cured overnight. The next day, the floor was scraped, vacuumed, and finished with the final clear polyaspartic topcoat.
