Pourtant auprès du grand public, Telegram, c’est comme un WhatsApp, plus sécurisé. Mais, en 2024, une arnaque sur six prenait racine sur la plateforme. Et en six mois, les arnaques signalées sur la plateforme ont augmenté de 120%. On y trouve de tout : des annonces pour des jobs qui, au lieu de te faire gagner de l’argent, t’en font perdre. Des propositions d’investissements où tu ne revois jamais la couleur de ton argent. Ou encore des gens qui te font croire qu’ils vont t’aider à récupérer l'argent que tu as perdu, alors qu’ils sont eux-mêmes des arnaqueurs. Et les conséquences sont réelles pour les victimes.
