I Tested Both – 2026 BMW M240i or Nissan Z Performance?

👋 In todays head to head comparison, let's take a look at the 2026 Nissan Z Performance and the 2026 BMW M240i! 👋 Today lets take a full look at the 2026 Nissan Z Performance. This Nissan Z was finished in an new color, Bayside Blue! Which became famous from the Fast and Furious Nissan Skyline! The interior was black and this model featured the 6 speed manual transmission. For $56,000 this 2026 Nissan Z Performance was about fully loaded for the Performance trim. However currently this 2026 Nissan Z Performance has a dealer discount bringing the MSRP closer to $53,000. With the 2026 Toyota Supra going slightly higher in price and being closer to a $61,000 MSRP, the price discrepancy is making the Z look like a decent deal than last year. Now with the Honda Civic Type-R being closer to $58,000, the Nissan Z seems to be a good competitor with that! You will find a 3.0L Twin Turbo V6 engine packing 400 HP and 350 TQ. The Nissan Z can do 0-60 in the low 4 seconds range and tops out at 155 MPH. This was a cool spec and great color combination and overall the Nisan Z gives you a fun GT style sportscar. My biggest complaints are the seats. They feel very small and aren't too supportive. I feel too tall in this car with no leg support. The Nismo trim has Recaro bucket seats and are amazing to sit in! The Z does lack some features for it's price tag like adaptive suspension, steering, exhaust and drive modes. And since it's weighs 3,500 pounds it does feel a bit heavy in the turns. It's comfortable overall and very fast but you can tell it's not really a super tight agile sports car. So if you want a nice basic sports car for cruising and has power, the Nissan Z is a cool option. But at the same price point with no discounts, you can buy a Toyota Supra or Ford Mustang GT and get a lot more performance and refinements. So it's a tough category and price range and I'd like to see a bit more out of the Z. 👋 In todays video we take a look at the all new 2026 BMW M240i xDrive!! The 2026 BMW M240i is a four seater sportscar that utilizes the B58 engine which is found in the Toyota Supra!! Being the BMW version though, it only comes with the eight speed automatic, all wheel drive becomes available and there are multiple configurations depending on how you want to spec it! The BMW M240i is a practical sportscar for everyday driving! Being a BMW it's well refined, comfortable and reliable! The exterior on this BMW M240i is boxy and squared off, which I think gives it a factory wide body design! The 2026 BMW M240i gets the updated steering wheel and the badges are slightly different, but that's about the only changes for this latest model. The interior is very nice! Traditional BMW design! The latest model for the BMW M240i offers the larger curved gauge cluster and infotainment system and new shifter! I do like the new setup and it's super easy to use! The rest of the interior has a nice design and great materials! The driving experience for this 2026 BMW M240i is great! It drives very similar to the automatic Toyota Supra! Handling will be similar, but it does weight more, and having the x-drive all wheel drive system as an option, that can help carry more weight through the turns! I have been in the BMW M2 and 230i and those both drive very well, so with the M240i being in the middle, it's going to perform very nicely for the performance settings!
