With detailed survival mechanics, open-world crafting, and hundreds of new building recipes, I've finally made a modlist that lets me play Skyrim Minecraft-style! Using a bunch of different mods and xEdit, I've put together a list that's perfect for survival challenges - one where I can make nearly ANYTHING in the game, including crafting stations, beds, houses, defensive structures, you name it, and place it WHEREVER I want to! There are SO MANY possibilities for new playthrough ideas using this list, but for this foray into Skyrim Sandbox Mode, I decided to play a 100 DAYS END TIMES challenge focused on rebuilding the city of Winterhold! I have 100 days to survive and turn Winterhold into a stronghold that will withstand the rage of the World-Eater. Because when those 50 days are up, Alduin will descend from the skies and I'll be thrown into the final boss fight whether I'm ready or not. But it's not just Alduin who wants us dead -- every 5 days, we'll be attacked by a raiding party of bandits, who'll get progressively stronger and more numerous as the challenge goes on. I'll need to recruit followers from around Skyrim to help protect the city, but many will die in the process... Additionally, I'm not allowed to buy or loot items that would otherwise be obtainable through crafting. I can only purchase raw materials from merchants. Also I can't use any crafting stations or beds that I haven't made myself. We're going full-on self-reliance here. Can we not only survive the harsh climate of Winterhold for 100 days, but build a fortified city AND actually level-up our combat skills to the point where we can defeat the World-Eater?
