ProjectLab.how: Cinematic DIY videos exploring backyard engineering, reclaimed materials, and the best obtainable version of the truth. I grew up surrounded by handy people. But for various reasons, I never got the chance to work with and learn from them. Eventually, I got the idea stuck in my head that I’d never be truly skillful like they were, that I had missed the boat and would be stuck standing to the side while others did the real work for the rest of my life. Eventually, I figured out that wow, I was wrong! Most of this stuff is TOTALLY doable. (Especially if someone tells you it can’t be done; be suspicious of those people.) So Project Lab is an attempt to share my learning adventures and, more importantly, demystify DIY for other people who might be standing to the side like I used to be.
