So, it's been about a month with the new iPhone 17, and the hype is over. What's it really like to use every day? This is my one-month-later review. I'm using the Lavender iPhone 17 (currently at 100% battery health with 21 cycles) as my secondary daily driver, right alongside my main iPhone 17 Pro. This has given me a pretty unique perspective on just how 'Pro' the base model feels this year, and for the first time... the gap is smaller than you'd think. The biggest story is the display. Apple finally put the 1-120Hz ProMotion display in the base model , and it’s a total game-changer. But is it worth the upgrade if you're coming from an iPhone 13, 14, or even 15 ?   In this video, we'll cover all of it: the design, the buttery-smooth new display, the wild performance from the A19 chip , real-world battery life , and the new cameras. We'll especially look at that new 18MP front camera that's been all over the internet. I'll also give you my honest thoughts on Apple Intelligence (it's not a dealbreaker ) and the real downsides you need to consider before you buy (like that painfully slow USB-C port ).   If you're considering buying the iPhone 17 or upgrading from an older model, this is the video to watch. In this video: Intro & My Setup (One Month In) The BIG Deal: ProMotion is Finally Here Design & That New 6.3" Display Performance: A19 Chip (Faster than 16 Pro?) Real-World Battery Life Cameras: 48MP Ultrawide & The Viral Front Camera iOS 26 & Apple Intelligence (My Honest Take) The 'Catch': Downsides & What You're Missing Conclusion: Who Should (and Shouldn't) Upgrade? Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think in the comments.
