Hands down, one of the best albums I’ve ever heard in my life. Like I mentioned in the intro, I kind of missed out on Tool when I was younger. I’d hear them passively through friends, but I never actually sat down and listened to a full album… and wow — I really missed out. Don’t get me wrong, Tool has some incredible individual songs. But now I understand: the real magic is in the full album experience. The way everything flows and builds — it’s intentional, and it’s powerful. For me, everything clicked starting with “Parabol,” flowing into “Parabola,” then “Ticks & Leeches,” and finally the title track, “Lateralus.” That stretch hit me hard. “Lateralus” is an amazing song on its own — but in the context of the album, it’s absolutely transformative. It felt like everything built up to that moment, and it changed the way I hear music. It’s official: I’m a ride-or-die Tool fan now. #tool #lateralus #drummerreacts #dannycarey #reaction
