The Middle East is one of the hottest and driest regions on Earth and at its heart lies Jordan. Wildlife here faces some of the natural world’s greatest challenges, their lives are governed by one all reaching force, the sun. From dawn till dusk their rhythm of life is dictated, the sun’s its daily cycle. Year on year, temperatures are rising and deserts are advancing, but while the sun can be damaging, it also has the power to breathe new life. Some have found sanctuaries from the scorching temperatures, whilst others absorb its punishing rays but all have found their way to thrive in Nature’s furnace.
