He has a daughter named Ritu, who is of marriageable age. Shyam hires Dev Kumar Malhotra, a talented young man, and is soon impressed by his abilities and confidence. Pleased with Dev’s character, Shyam decides to get Ritu engaged to him. However, soon after the engagement, Shyam discovers that Dev’s intentions are not genuine, as he has financial troubles and is using Shyam for his wealth. A shocking event leads to Shyam’s sudden death, witnessed by Ritu’s young niece, Riya, who goes into a state of fear. Dev keeps a close watch on her to prevent the truth from coming out. Ritu begins to suspect something unusual and eventually faces Dev during their honeymoon night, which ends in a dangerous confrontation. Believing she has lost him, Ritu runs to her grandmother, who later reveals that Dev is still alive and in the hospital. When Ritu visits him, she is shocked to find him perfectly fine and behaving as if nothing happened. Later, he privately reveals that he is actually Anand Kumar Malhotra — Dev’s identical twin brother. Anand explains that Dev had always been dishonest, and the two brothers had separated years ago. A week before Dev’s marriage, they met again, and Dev pretended to have changed. Anand came to meet him that night but found himself caught in the aftermath of Dev’s wrongdoings. Realizing Dev had been impersonating him, Anand decides to protect Ritu by keeping the truth hidden. Meanwhile, Inspector Rahul, Ritu’s old friend, grows suspicious, while Dev’s former girlfriend and a rival businessman named Bhai also create trouble. Anand struggles to balance his dual identity — posing as Dev in front of the family while fighting the criminals as himself. When suspicions grow stronger, Anand takes the blame to protect Ritu. As the situation unfolds, Rahul learns the truth and helps Anand prove his innocence. Anand eventually finds Dev’s body, clearing all doubts. After a series of intense encounters, Anand defeats his enemies, the case is closed, and he is finally reunited with Ritu, bringing peace to their lives.
