A 33-year-old woman was a loving mother of three and the proud CEO of a small business. Between 2013 and 2015, she had scaled her company to six figures, building a future alongside her husband, a local barber. Until the night of June 29th, 2017, when tragedy shattered their household in Lantana, Florida. Around 2 a.m., the husband was in the garage giving a haircut to the woman’s brother, while a family friend hung around. That’s when a masked intruder burst into the home, demanding money from someone nicknamed “Quest,” while holding the three men at gunpoint. Puzzled, they assumed the nickname referred to the woman’s mother, who may have owed money to someone, and complied with the intruder’s demands.
