1500 KM Solo Journey – I Camped in Bear Territory I left Istanbul… With my 1987 Land Rover Defender and my loyal dog Odin, I set out on a 1500 KM solo journey. Along the way, I sometimes slept in my car or in a hammock under the stars. I slowed down, embraced nature, and kept moving. Eventually, I reached the Artvin region in northeastern Turkey and aimed for its highest summit. I drove as far as I could, then hiked the rest on foot. When I reached the top, I felt completely free — alone in the wild, surrounded by silence and mountains. That night, I used my night vision scope and managed to record a wild bear in the distance. In the morning, I found its tracks around my tent. This video captures a powerful journey — one of solitude, survival , and deep connection to the wild.
