As you learn English it is easy to get confused between certain pairs of words when you hear them or read them, like suit and suite, or can and can't. Some are pronounced the same way, others look very similar but have a very different meaning and pronunciation. At times you may find you accidentally use the wrong one! In this free English lesson I'll help you learn the difference between a few confusing word pairs in English, and how to distinguish between them when it comes to pronunciation, meaning, and usage. I'll go over word pairs that have very similar pronunciations. I'll go over word pairs that have specific rules for usage, and I'll go over word pairs that are easy to define, but their usage can be a bit strange.
