Light years aren’t just distance. They’re time. And a hard limit on what we can ever know. A light-year is the distance light travels in one year, which turns the night sky into a map of the past. In this ~25-minute contemplative space documentary, we follow the universe’s built-in speed limit — the speed of light — and the quiet truth it creates: every star you see is already the past… and some galaxies have a “present” that will never reach us at all.
