Ten people have been killed in a mass shooting at a school in the Austrian city of Graz. As well as the fatalities, 28 injured people are currently being treated in hospitals, the newspaper Kronen Zeitung reported. At least four of them are in extremely critical condition. Some victims were reportedly shot in the head. Austrian tabloid Heute reported that the suspect is a 22-year-old former student who allegedly stormed into two classrooms with two legally owned weapons — a pistol and a shotgun — and opened fire. He is believed to have targeted his former classroom at the school. According to the newspaper, the shooter then locked himself in a bathroom cubicle and killed himself. Citing local police, the Austrian state media provider ORF said students and teachers were among the injured.
