Right now the story is about I.C.E. and if the opposition to their operations have been riots or peaceful protests. The full weight of the argument always ends up resting on the people to be non violent but never the officials they are opposing. Someone even defending themselves at a protest can get the entire narrative changed to a violent event. But should thousands of people who don’t know each other all be held to a standard of one when abuses by officials are handled on a case by case basis?
