Ein geschichtlicher Überblick wie, und vor allem warum es zu USB kam und wodurch sich die unterschiedlichen Versionen des Standards auszeichnen. Es geht um die Barrierefreiheit von Steckern und Bezeichnungen. Die Grundlagen wie die Signalisierung und Protokollebene funktionieren kommen ebenfalls nicht zu kurz.
