Making Sulfuric Acid - Trying Out NurdRage's Electrobromine Process

@scrapscienceAbout
Hello everyone! Harry here, welcome to Scrap Science. My channel is mainly focused on chemistry experiments (electrochemistry in particular) with relatively basic equipment, though some of my videos will often branch out into other areas of experimental science. The main focus of my videos is to simply document and explain the experiments I do at home, and maybe we'll all learn something along the way. If you need to contact me, my email is [email protected] . I can't guarantee I'll reply to everything, but I'll do my best to respond to genuine enquiries.

Video Description
After years of trying different electrochemical methods of making sulfuric acid, I simply had to try a scaled-up version of Nurdrage's Electrobromine Process. As expected, it works perfectly, and we're able to catalytically react sulfur with water to generate a reasonable yield of sulfuric acid. You can find the original video on the process from @NurdRage here: https://youtu.be/6ms6xbPhdVs?si=cTxZ_tDRBH4l6QXM Special thanks to @danfm1 who put together an upgraded version of the Scrap Science jingle at the start.
