Also wrote stuff for Octane Magazine and Sunday Times. Left evo in September 2013 and became an outside advisor to Jaguar Land Rover 2013-18, helping JLR set up Special Operations. Hooked on cars from an early age, although my first love was motorbikes, the first one arriving when I was 11. Swapped to 4-wheels when I turned 17 and have been lucky enough to have owned or driven almost every interesting car ever made. This YouTube channel is my way of sharing this passion for all things motoring with an equally passionate audience.

The Mercedes SLR McLaren was launched back in 2003 and now in 2021, MSO (McLaren Special Operations) have launched a revised version of this 208mph, carbon-fibre bodied GT. With more power, revised chassis new body colours and interiors, I decided to take in on a 1000-mile road-trip to the Lake District to find out what it was like to live with on a big trip. During the video, I investigate Donald Campbell's disastrous world record attempt to become the fast man on water in January 1967 in his boat, Bluebird K7.
