40+ MILES in Veteran Cars - The Cheshire Cheese Run, Veteran Car Club

I was invited to the Veteran Car Club's Cheshire Cheese Run, which saw 30+ veteran cars tackling 40+ miles of Cheshire countryside across this fantastic event. The day started with the veteran cars and a couple of vintage cars amassing outside Wybunbury's Leaning Tower, before I hopped in a 1915 Ford Model T which positively flew past the earlier single-twin cylinder motor cars. After a few veteran car fly-by shots in Audlem, a 1913 Sunbeam was my free-of-charge taxi to the Secret Nuclear Bunker. The day ended with the final leg pf the 40 mile veteran car run, where I had the incredible experience of a 1902 Darracq at full tilt. (≈30mph!) All in all, this was one of the best UK car events I've ever been to, and it was a brilliant to experience all the pre-1919 cars - from the back seats and roadside!
