Hi- I'm Steve and I'm a technical trainer and consultant. The Internet as we know it is changing. The early Internet was for people to exchange information whereas the next stage of the Internet will be focused on machines exchanging information (M2M). This will involve the development of new technologies and services as well as utilising existing ones. I've created this channel to help you understand and use basic technology that you will encounter in today's Internet age. I'm currently focusing on the MQTT protocol as I believe it is the protocol that will power the IOT. Working with the IOT at any level will involve some form of programming. There are tools like node-red which make this much easier even for novice programmers and is currently my favourite choice for developing IOT solutions.
