We checked into Monaco's most affordable luxury hotel to find out — and had one of our weirdest hotel experiences ever. From being given an occupied room to mysterious Fairmont workout kits, this honest hotel review covers it all. The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a 4-star hotel with 600 rooms located directly on the famous Monaco F1 hairpin turn. We booked a sea view room with balcony through a travel advisor to get early check-in, room upgrades, and a €100 hotel credit. The property features Nobu restaurant, Nikki Beach rooftop pool, a spa, sauna, steam room, and gym — though the facilities were overcrowded during our stay. We tour the room, bathroom with Le Labo amenities, Mediterranean-style terrace overlooking the Monaco harbour, and test the Nespresso machine, wifi speed, and bed comfort.
