We're Isis and Bertus, a Belgian-Dutch couple who are exchanging the concrete of the suburbs for the peace of nature. After fifteen years of dreaming and gradually working towards making this possible, we stand at the beginning of a new chapter. Our path has led us to a dilapidated farmstead nestled in the rolling hills of the breathtaking Langhe area in Piemonte, Italy. We invite you to join us on our journey of intentionally and lovingly restoring this beautiful 200-year old farmstead. It's the first week of our second year on the farm! This week we're clearing another piece of land, building back up the window sills in the barn, and enjoying the bounty of the land. We're Isis & Bertus, a belgian-dutch couple. In the summer of 2023 we moved into a neglected farmhouse in a tiny village in the northwest of Italy.
