While in London recently for the first fitting of my incredible new linen suit from master tailor Terry Haste, I decided it was finally time to introduce myself to the third arm of the famous Kent , Haste & Lachter tailoring house. Until now my time had solely been spent with legendary tailors Kent and Haste, but the firm is just as well known for the fantastic shirts that are made by renowned shirt tailor Stephen Lachter. The shirt service that Lachter offers is purely bespoke; the shape, style, cloth, colour and finer details can all be individually specified. Once the cloth is chosen and the collar, cuff and details are decided, Lachter will take measurements and assess you figuration. Your posture effects the way a shirt hangs, and so when drafting up your unique bespoke shirt pattern it is important to not only work from measurements.
