Finally today I am collecting my brand new pair of bespoke shoes from Gaziano & Girling. After months of work, they are finally ready to collect, from their flagship store on Savile Row in London. Those of you who have followed along with remember that last year we filmed Tony Gaziano taking my bespoke measurements to carve my bespoke last. Then we came back for a first fitting with a trial pair of shoes, which he cut up to reveal the adjustments he would make. There was a 2nd fitting stage after this, which again resulted in further tweaks to the last and pattern, before finally crafting the final pair. These shoes, based off Gaziano & Girling's model St James II, are simply fantastic. With an incredible fit, and a unique patina that has real dimensionality to it, I couldn't be more happy with the finished product.
