Two years ago we were fortunate to have witnessed and filmed the wedding of two artists, Nayanthara and Vignesh This video was the first glimpse of their wedding film, created for them moments after their wedding. Featuring our friends at Shaadi Squad, and the little elephant animation we made for them to show our appreciation. The music, Mangalyam, is an original TWF Classic song sung by Amrita Talukdar and Vivek Hariharan. It’s incredible to witness the societal shift through our films. There was a time when Bollywood actresses would keep their marriages under wraps, but today, they’re embracing and celebrating these moments openly, sharing their wedding films with pride. It’s deeply rewarding to know we’ve been a part of normalizing this celebration of love and commitment. There have been so many milestones along the way. Made in Heaven, for instance, is loosely inspired by The Wedding Filmer, with its unique perspective from the videographer's lens. Dharma Productions was so moved by how we portrayed Indian weddings that they entrusted us with creating the iconic wedding sequence in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. We’ve also been featured on Netflix’s The Big Day, showcasing our vision to a global audience. After countless celebrity weddings we have honed our craft. Our work for Superstar Nayanthara’s wedding, including the film and music, has premiered on Netflix and sat on the No.1 spot. It’s moments like these that remind me how far we’ve come, not just as filmmakers, but as storytellers shaping how weddings are celebrated on and off the screen.
