However, now he’s had the chance to drive it several times, he’s wondering if he was wrong when he gave his last verdict! To put it to the test, we’ve brought together its key competitors - the RS7 Performance and Mercedes-AMG GT 63. So of course, given how powerful these machines are, we need to look at the stats! The BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, which combine to produce 727hp and 1000Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, weighing a colossal 2,435kg! The RS7 is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this creates 630hp and 850Nm. This performance is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 2,065kg. Then finally we have the AMG.
