So in this video, I’m breaking down everything new in the FCP 12 update, what’s hot, what’s not, and how these features can actually save you hours when editing. Before you update, I’ll show you how to safely back up Final Cut Pro, compress the old version, and export your custom keyboard shortcuts, so nothing breaks when you upgrade. Then we’ll dive into the biggest changes: 🔥 Intelligent Search ▫️ Transcript Search + Visual Search. You can now search inside your clips for spoken words, related topics, visual objects, and even small background sounds. No more scrubbing endlessly through footage to find one moment — FCP literally finds it for you.
