Video Description

In this episode I install a new bearing block for the Mini Lathes lead screw to the machine. The lead screw had just plain bearings from factory and had some significant axial play. I upgraded to a double row angular contact bearing which can take both radial and axial forces. In addition to that I added a second steel hex rod alongside the machine bed. This rod will have a major function in the future for the machine. The mystery will be revealed in a future video.
