This video dives into a new SX-70 mod I've discovered, and also discusses previous custom lenses I've mounted to cameras. I'm regularly asked about the possibility of custom lenses on SX-70 cameras. Mounting a standard large format lens for example is insanely difficult, if not impossible for reasons that I discuss in the video But my new mod offers perhaps the next best thing This mod effectively mimics the design of a Petzval lens, producing a sharp centre with blurred edges when shooting at wider apertures.
