Well, I’ve been testing both the OnePlus Nord 5 and CE5 this past fortnight so here’s my comparison. Upgrading to the Nord 5 does net you quite a few bonuses, starting with a better camera experience. Compared with the OnePlus Nord CE5, you’ll enjoy more natural looking contrast and bold colours, which I personally like - plus a 50MP selfie camera, which I don’t. Too much detail, you see. The OnePlus Nord 5 also offers a performance boost, thanks to the Snapdragon smarts. Gaming is certainly a smoother experience, although both the Nord CE5 and 5 sport the same battery capacity and charging. OxygenOS 15 is mostly the same across both smartphones. However, the OnePlus Nord CE5 is lacking a Plus key as well as always on display, along with some other settings. So that’s my comparison of the OnePlus Nord 5 vs Nord CE5.
