I still preferred the Galaxy watch as an everyday android watch but now the OnePlus watch 3 here absolutely destroys the Galaxy watch in a couple categories. So there are several main upgrades to the OnePlus watch 3 that fixed the biggest drawbacks of the OnePlus Watch 2 and strengthened its biggest benefits. so I've been wearing this for about 2.5 weeks now and I only charged it twice. there's also finally a rotating crown which you don't have on the Galaxy watch Ultra or the Galaxy watch 7. Shouldn’t be an issue since this is allegedly MIL-810H so good for up to 158F - I wore it in a sauna hotter than that but ideally the watch will be cooled by your skin there Health monitoring Multi-dimensional sleep monitoring Wellness score Wrist temperature added 60 second health report - Garmin does this but in 2 minutes 6 key indicators - vascular age, hR, SPO2, Mental wellness, sleep quality, wrist temp ECG analyzer will not be available in the USA - not coming to the US & Canada This was weird though - got mad at me for a low HR when it was 49 Nap detection tested & it works really well! Dual engine architecture - Snapdragon W5 & BES2800 Silicon nanostack battery (as seen in oneplus 13) Now 631mAh vs old 500mAh This alone will destroy most other watches - Expect others to copy!! Apple Watch - 18 hrs Pixel Watch - 24 hrs Galaxy Watch 7 - about 24 hrs Now being that the Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch, and this are three of the most commonly purchased Android smartwatches here in the US, I’ll be making an in-depth comparison video very soon. PROS: Beautiful design Battery life is incredible Rotating crown makes the watch so much more usable Plenty of apps available Video watch faces & customized tiles / widgets Fall detection - yes Overall, a fantastic wearos watch CONS OHealth app is not great ONLY ONE SIZE? Female cycle tracking? - no No ECG in USA No bodyscan like what Galaxy has No mention of aquatouch or glove mode Huge miss for women. It is clear OnePlus wasn’t thinking of women at all when they made this watch. Compatible with iphone? - No (expected)
