When it comes to the world of Pirates, there are plenty of injuries to be had. Pirates of the Caribbean saw wild stunts, dangerous conditions, and risky choreo that led to actors, stunt people, and sometimes even crew members on set being injured! Johnny Depp suffered multiple injuries when he was sailing the seven seas, swashbuckling anyone who crossed him. The actor doesn’t often do stunts, but the ones he did wind up doing for the Pirates films left him in rough shape - at one point he was left limping around the set due to a back injury. Depp also suffered nerve damage in one of his feet but surprisingly, it wasn’t the dangerous part of a stunt that caused it, but a safety measure that was in place! Keira Knightley showed us just how fierce a pirate could be - especially considering she did the entire first film in an extra-tight corset! The actress struggled to breathe, but she still didn’t miss a beat. One of Knightley’s accessories wound up causing such distress that she fully ditched it after just one night - and she wasn’t waiting for permission from anyone! Orlando Bloom caused Johnny Depp’s stunt double, leaving him with a pretty brutal scar on his face. Tony Angelotti did go through a rollercoaster with Pirates of the Caribbean. It was this franchise when he faced what was essentially the end of his career due to an extremely intense and dangerous stunt gone wrong. These actors faced a whole lot of danger and when they faced it head-on, they, unfortunately, didn’t always leave unharmed, but they always brought their A-game.
