In this episode of Study Hall College Journeys, journalist Joss Fong from @Howtown interviews Jonny Manganello, better known as @thejonnycakes —a hyper-realistic cake sensation, comedian, actor, and reality competition show Is It Cake? contestant! Before Jonny began baking deceptive cakes that fooled millions online, he was an acting student at the University of Michigan with his sights set on Hollywood. After graduating he went straight to working on the Universal Studios set as a tour guide and other odd jobs as he auditioned across LA, and one of those side gigs revealed a passion he didn’t know he had: baking.
