The model is the Breitling Chronometre Longitude and it is based on a Valjoux 7750 series movement with an additional GMT hand. Watch Cleaning Regime ************************ https://www.richardperrett.com/watch-repair/my-watch-parts-cleaning-regime/ The Breitling in this video belongs to an international businessman called Will Hickey whose wife Joanne purchased the watch new in Sydney whilst on Holiday in the year 2000. This Breitling served Will well for ten years but then, after a move to Cyprus, he went swimming wearing the watch with the crown unscrewed and the watch suffered an ingress of water. His local watchmaker had just retired so the watch went into its original box and into a cupboard, for a decade! Recently Will's son Ben has shown an interest in the watch and so Will turned to me to see if it could be saved!
