Follow along as Mike Murray from Time Rift Arcade brings it back to life! Mappy is a 1983 arcade classic from Namco where you play as a tiny police mouse chasing down a gang of thief cats called the Meowkies. Your goal is to recover stolen goods scattered across each house while bouncing on trampolines to move between floors. The challenge ramps up fast as the cats track your movements and try to corner you. Clever timing, door tricks, and bonus rounds keep the gameplay fun and surprisingly strategic for an early ’80s title. It’s a charming mix of cute characters and tense chase action that still holds up today.
