In this video I went DEEP into the jungle right in the middle of Rio de Janeiro. Most people think of beaches and parties when they think of Rio, but the city actually sits next to the world’s largest urban forest...WHAAAT?! What started as a simple hike turned into a full adventure. We found peaceful waterfalls, ran into wild monkeys just hanging out in the trees, and climbed our way up to some insane views over the entire city. Along the way I met a local who showed me parts of Rio most tourists never see. We talked about life, shared some crazy stories, and somehow ended up watching people paraglide right off the cliffs above the forest. The whole day felt unpredictable in the best way. And just when I thought the adventure was over, we stumbled onto a whole monkey family right before leaving the jungle. This was only day two in Rio. Tomorrow I am heading into the favelas to see a completely different side of the city.
