Roger explained that through forgiveness and faith, he was able to have peace of mind after coming out with “nothing.” Roger added that people in the streets were trying to get him back in, but his right-hand man started working with producer Uncle Paulie, and Roger added that he was also around “I Need a Girl” rapper Loon. Through his association with Loon, Roger explained that Uncle Paulie started asking about him and asked if Roger could be his driver. This led to him speaking about being associated with Diddy, and Shawn Prez interjected to ask Roger if he was ever around Black Rob in jail, which Roger confirmed that they were locked up together in 1988. This led to Roger telling stories about Black Rob being an “iconic storyteller” with his rhymes, which he used to get money while in jail. When asked about getting out in 1991 and going back in the feds in 1995, Roger explained that he was still living with the stigma he had in the streets. He added that a friend of his went to the feds for selling, despite telling Roger that he wasn’t, and he told Roger about running off with some of his supply. Roger then stepped to the guy and warned him, and Roger later found out that his friend was cooperating. This led to the feds confronting Roger about trying to find the other guy, which he declined, and he was handed 5 years for that charge. Shawn Prez then asked Roger about his connection to Loon, and he revealed that his younger brother was always close with him before he got his deal. From there, Roger spoke about being close with D- Ferg, who is A$AP Ferg’s father, and Roger called him “the epitome of Harlem.” Roger then detailed D-Ferg’s connection to Diddy, and he then revealed that D-Ferg showed him the Bad Boy logo that he created. Roger also revealed that D-Ferg told him that Diddy paid him $5,000 for the logo, and he went on to speak about D-Ferg’s passing.
