Many victims of narcissistic abuse are often left wondering why no one believes what they've been through. Some even question themselves if they were indeed the problem. Through blame shifting, gaslighting and projection many narcissistic people try to convince their victims and others into believing they were innocent the whole time, they are actually the victim. In this video Darren Magee outlines seven common behaviours and phrases narcissists use to grind down their victims self confidence, self esteem, reputation and character. Wear down their resolve and question their own reality by twisting and exaggerating situations, and blaming their victim by focusing on their reactions as the problem, rather than what they have done to provoke the reaction.
