Van life in Bulgaria has been a bit rough. Martha is still causing problems and struggling up hills, so needs a mechanic if we want to keep travelling in her. Our roof and door are also leaking, so we try our best to fix these. But the roughest part has been being apart. Solo van life is not what I expected, it was a lot harder than I anticipated. We missed each other A LOT!! We still had fun in Bulgaria though! We packed a lot in! Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan.
