She was close with family, particularly her mother but there were some things that Melody kept even from her. At about 11:30 PM on a Saturday night, without saying a word, she slipped out the front door of her family home and caught a ride in a blue Honda Accord. That night the conflict brewing in Melody’s personal life was coming to a boil. Unfortunately for her, she was completely oblivious to the danger that she was walking into.
