We're talking $41,490 drive-away for the Liftback (like a big sedan but with a hatchback boot), or $43,990 drive-away for the estate or station wagon. Both have the 1.4L turbo petrol engine and a traditional auto transmission with front-wheel drive, and they're so so SO easy to live with when it comes to the drive experience. There are some new spec inclusions like a massive new screen inside, and plenty of great safety tech, too. But there are a few little things that might be worth waiting for in one of the higher-spec Octavias, which are coming soon - the Sportline and the RS (or vRS, as it's known in some markets).
