I wanted to do more Abstract Art, using fluid paint, on different surface areas, using various tools and techniques. Today I am painting with a squeegee and a tile grouter! It makes some wonderful indents and patterns and this is one of my most favourite abstract pieces I have made to date. I use good quality paints that have a good binder. My pouring medium is Owatrol Floetrol. I use a ration of 1:3:1 - paint: pouring medium: water. You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use. ▶ Color Palette: Amsterdam: Titanium white, Lamp Black, Brilliant Blue, Sky Blue Light, Turquoise Blue, Winsor & Newton: Cobalt Blue Pebeo: Iridescent Gold ▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
