This animation is based on Franz Joseph’s original schematics, and Part 1 focuses on Decks 1 through 11, fully modeled in intricate detail. The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) was a 23rd-century Constitution-class starship, the first Federation vessel to carry the iconic name. Commissioned in 2245, it was originally captained by Robert April, then Christopher Pike, and eventually James T. Kirk, who led the ship on its famous five-year mission from 2264 to 2269. More than just a fictional vessel, the Enterprise became a pop culture icon—a symbol of exploration, ingenuity, and the boundless potential of spaceflight.
