I spent a full day and night in one of the most dangerous favelas (hoods) of Brazil. It is located in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro and and is part of a vast complex of different favelas." Usually, it's extremely risky to film in a favela because of the gang members who are in charge of the area. In every corner, you can see armed youngsters who are either guarding the favela or selling drugs! At the same time, I met so many kind and humble people in the favela, like Pedro and his friends! They showed me around, I got the official Brazilian haircut, and later on, we went to an unforgettable favela party that blew my mind! In general, as you can see in the video, it was challenging and risky to film there because many illegal things that usually take place in hidden locations happen openly in favelas, and YouTube would never allow such content on its platform.
