8th November 2023 marks 10 years since super typhoon Haiyan, known locally as Yolanda, tore through the central Philippines, killing thousands. The strongest landfalling tropical cyclone ever observed and the deadliest in Philippines' history. To mark the anniversary I've re-released my eyewitness account of this historic, brutal storm.
