StrategyU was founded by Paul Millerd a former strategy consultant with experience at McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group and over 9 years experience as a management consultant. Paul is passionate about teaching people in the business world the lessons he learned in consulting to help make them better at their jobs and level up their content. Told early in his life he "didn't go to the right schools," he tried to break into strategy consulting, got rejected by every firm in the country and then somehow got another chance at McKinsey & Company. He came for the prestige and ego boost but stayed for the frameworks. He's now retired from his 10-year consulting career and trying to hack a humble living as a self-employed nomad, but still works with individuals, founders and leaders to help them use strategy consulting skills in their work.
